The Watch Technician will report to the Head Watchmaker or the Technical Director – Watches. Success in this role will be achieved through leveraging a can-do attitude.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Identify all quartz watches (watch brand, watch model, movement brand, movement model)
•Open and close all types of watch cases without damaging them
•Diagnose quartz movement issues
•Change batteries and gaskets
•Replace complete quartz movements
•Calibrate chronograph and other complication indicators to original factory settings in quartz watches
•Perform pressure test on all watch types
•Perform timing measurements on all watch types
•Demagnetize all watch types
•Authenticate quartz watches across all brands
•Clean external components of all non-leather-strap watches (case, crystal, bracelet) using appropriate method, including ultrasonic solution/machine and steamer
•Perform any additional daily tasks as directed by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

•Experience in assembly of small devices (electronics, medical, robotics) a plus but not required
•Experience in visual quality control a plus

•Ability to execute on communication systems
•Adept at working with, and open to learning new technology solutions to increase productivity and efficiency
•Polished in verbal and written communication
•Ability to work within specific process constraints
