Experience Watchmaking & Jewelry Repair

Job description

clockmaker, clock repair, clock restorer.

You have at least either preliminary training or some professional bench experience.

You can already repair and overhaul simple clocks.

You are passionate about horology.

You have excellent references.

This is a superb opportunity to grow, working in a small highly qualified and experienced team, alongside a senior watchmaker.

The work will involve repair/restoration work. The repair work is very varied, with no two jobs in a row. With our guidance you will learn how to tackle a wide array of horology, ancient and modern. We have an excellent reputation and we get superb clocks in for repair.

Stamford is a superb place to live and work: one of England’s finest market towns yet without a high cost of living. Excellent lifestyle in beautiful surroundings.

Our landmark workshops overlook the Old North Road in the centre of town to the front and overlook the stunning river and meadows behind us. In bright workshops spread over four floors we cover every aspect of clock and watchmaking including cnc machining cases, dials and movement components, creating and firing enamel dials, making escapements from scratch, hand-turning gold cases, hand-engraving, the list is fascinating and endless. We don’t expect you to master these arts but you will appreciate working in this environment.
