What You Get To Do Every Day
•Execute all aspects of the authentication and pricing process by accurately identifying attributes of the watch
•Set list prices for all watch brands with direction and final approval from the Horology Team
•Research fair market value and market demand of watches
•Adhere to first in, first out methodology to ensure all consignments are prioritized and product flows according to plan
•Comfort researching market pricing
•Familiarity with the current secondary market for watches
•Familiarity with both vintage and modern timepieces
•Evaluate and price a minimum of 50 pieces per day
•Communicate directly with Watchmakers, FJW Copywriters and •Photographers, keeping them informed on any complications, confusion points, requests, etc.
What You Bring To The Role
•Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, FHH certification accepted; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Ability to read, interpret and use watch specific terminology.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
•Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
