Total Watch Repair, an Encino based luxury watch repair company is looking for a Watch Technician to join our rapidly growing team! We are looking to hire a certified watch technician who specializes in all watch repair.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include but are not limited to repairing, cleaning, polishing and adjusting watches using watchmaker’s tools, measuring instruments, bench machines, and cleaning equipment.Ability to service a wide range of timepieces, e.g. quartz, mechanical & chronograph knowledge of how to set, adjust and activate all functions of watches. Able to troubleshoot complex watch problems for a wide range of timepieces, e.g. quartz, mechanical, & chronograph Implement solutions for repair such as moisture damage, timing adjustments & cleaning escape wheels.
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated ability to:
- Repair/replace movements
- Service/overhaul mechanisms
- Servicing Swiss automatic chronograph watches (Preferred but not Required)
- Water pressure testing
- Gaskets replacement
- Crystals repair
- Cases & crowns knowledge
- Ability to use repair tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
- Brand Certification (AWCI, Omega, Cartier, Rolex, Tag Heuer, Panerai, Breitling, Etc.)(Preferred but not Required)
- Ability to diagnose and correct problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Willingness to further knowledge through training
- Exceptional attention to small details
- Ability to work in high volume
- 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH WATCHES
- Adjust timing regulators, using truing calipers, watch-rate recorders, and tweezers.
Salary Range: 45,000k-60,000k DOE (Depends On Experience)
