Full Job Description
Our high-volume repair shop is looking for skilled watchmakers to join our team. Excellent pay, friendly staff, and good benefits!
*** EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***
Position: Watchmaker (Watch Repair Technician)
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
•Test and replace batteries and electronic circuits for proper functioning.
•Perform regular adjustment and maintenance on timepieces, watch cases, and watch bands.
•Disassemble timepieces and inspect them for defective, worn, misaligned, or rusty parts, using loupes.
•Test timepiece accuracy and performance, using meters and other electronic instruments.
•Clean, rinse, and dry timepiece parts, using solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical watch-cleaning machines.
•Oil moving parts of timepieces.
•Adjust timing regulators, using truing calipers, watch-rate recorders, and tweezers.
•Assist customers with repairs and inquiries
Qualifications
•Minimum 3 years of watch repair experience
•Knowledge of and ability to use horological tools and equipment
