Our family is growing and we a looking for a dynamic watchmaker to join us at our Rolex Plaque store in Winston Salem, NC. We have been in business since 1893 and have an excellent reputation which requires only the best watchmakers. There is a dedicated watchmaker’s shop with all the best equipment for a person to join one of our senior watchmakers whom has WOSTEP, Rolex level 40, CW21, and OWME level 6 certification. This shop was opened in 2020 and is already burgeoning with repairs. You can be our next star on the team!! Listed below are the skills and education we are looking for……
Required.
US citizen, Green card holder, authorization to work in the US
Required Education and industry experience.
WOSTEP, SAWTA, CW21, or equivalent degree from a watchmaking school
2 years industry experience in retail or SAV center preferred
Required personal attributes.
Organized with Diligence
Ability to prioritize repairs, switch from working together to working alone
Communicate concisely and professionally with team members, sales staff, customers, and vendors
Able to manage interruptions to workflow to accommodate sales staff with new sales and sizing’s
Required technical skills.
Knowledge and familiarity with common tools (Staking set, Horia pusher, Hand press, lyre calipers, etc.)
Ability to replace batteries, gaskets, crystals, and crowns on quartz watches
Skills to adjust beat error and timing
Very quick turn around on comebacks and warrant service
Test and record QC results according to brand specific QC
Familiar with Swiss movements (ETA, Sellita, Soprod) and the ability to do complete service on them
Understand and perform water resistance testing before and after service
Ability to follow brand specific polices and procedures to the letter
Repair and clean ETA 210.001, and 959.001 quartz movements
Perform movement exchanges on all other quartz models, with the ability to change parts as needed. Parts include date disk orientation, and placing hands in the vertical as well as horizontal plane
Expert at oiling
Ability to use cleaning machine and change fluid according to schedule
Match purchase orders with job ticket
Maintain stock levels
Work together to keep absolute cleanliness of the shop
Basic computer skills in email and excel
A plus
Any brand specific training with certificate, diploma, or other credentials
Willing to travel for company paid training
