Our clients based in Wokingham are currently looking for 2 Watch Technicians, one experienced and one junior level.

Summary Of The Role (Junior)

This position focuses on repairs to items such as bracelets, straps, glasses and stone replacements. Battery replacements for watches and setting them will also form a large part of the role. It will also be a requirement to learn and deal with technical queries by telephone so a strong but pleasant telephone manner is essential as is the ability to learn and understand the operation of the more technical watches and duly share this with colleagues.

Role Responsibilities ( Junior)

Duties to include but are not limited to the following:

•To undertake repairs to watches as required.
•To work to the agreed individual, group and team Key Performance Indicators.
•To ensure that the cost effective use of spare parts is properly controlled.
•To assist customers with technical questions either on the telephone/email.
•To liaise with all customers, consumers and colleagues in a manner commensurate with the image of the brand.
•Keyboard literacy is a requirement.
•Any other duties that may be reasonably requested.

Summary Of Role (Experienced)

To perform all watch repairs in a timely and accurate manner. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate watch making skills with reference to the servicing and module replacement of quartz and automatic time pieces and have competence to replace all watch crystals from commencement of employment.

Duties To Include, But Not Limited To The Following

Role Responsibilities (Experienced)

•To undertake watch repairs, including but not limited to, servicing and replacing modules for all calibres whilst working to the agreed individual, group and team Key Performance Indicators.
•To ensure quality and attention to detail is always maintained to the company standard.
•To ensure that the cost-effective use of spare parts is properly controlled.
•To report any manufacturing issues/problems to your line manager.
•To assist customers with technical questions either on the telephone, by email, text, fax, or in person.
•To liaise with all customers, consumers and colleagues in a manner commensurate with the image of the brand.
•To perform any other duties that may be reasonably requested within the service operation.
