Watchmaker/Watch Technician
About the Role:
Total Watch Repair is seeking a skilled Watchmaker/Watch Technician to join our expert team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality repairs and servicing a variety of watch brands while adhering to brand standards. The ideal candidate should be proficient in working with mechanical, automatic, and quartz movements—experience with chronographs is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately assess repair needs for each timepiece.
- Disassemble, service, and reassemble movements, including cleaning, replacing broken parts, adjusting, and testing for accuracy.
- Assemble all case components and ensure proper waterproofing.
- Diagnose movement issues and determine the best repair methodology.
- Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to resolve challenges during repairs.
- Perform emergency repairs as needed under time-sensitive conditions.
- Ensure all necessary services have been completed before returning watches to customers.
- Maintain an organized workspace, including tools, equipment, and consumable orders.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- One year of Technical School Training (minimum) or professional experience of 5 years or more
- Ability to efficiently repair multiple watches per day, balancing complex and routine repairs.
- Strong independent work ethic, with the ability to determine when and how to replace components.
- Proficiency in using Swiss standard equipment, including Witschi timing and water resistance testing tools.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to excellence in watchmaking.
Compensation:
Salary will be based on experience and skill level.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
