Jewelry polisher, bench jeweler
Job Description (NOTE: All skills do not have to be mastered. We are willing to train the right candidate)
This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to work with an established NYC premier fine jewelry company and learn and grow in the manufacturing processes. Are you that candidate?
We are looking for a detailed individual with a diverse manufacturing skill set to offer our team consistent quality production of 14 karat, 18 karat, and platinum 950 fine jewelry mountings and finished jewelry items.
Our manufacturing facility is brand new, comfortable and functional.
Specific task and skills can include:
working with waxes: shooting, cleaning, making trees
casting: learning and assisting in the casting process
bench work: cutting, filing, cleaning, polishing, lapping mountings
rhodium bench: applying rhodium to finished rings
solder bench: working with two/three piece molds, repairs, assembly
other tasks: provide support to administration and wholesale team as needed
Extra skills a plus: CAD, RHINO, Photoshop, English language
This position is flexible: part-time or full-time. Current students are encouraged to apply. We are willing to show flexibility for the right candidate.
