Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled goldsmiths. As a goldsmith at our shop you will be responsible for taking designs from cradle to heirloom. This includes sales, CAD, 3D printing, casting, stone setting, laser welding, fabrication, wax carving, and various other goldsmithing skills. This is a startup and is seeking to bring the artisan (goldsmith) to the forefront of the jewelry industry. After all, everyone wants to talk to the goldsmith. Training will be provided on CAD, 3D printing, and other skills if needed.

Without dedicated sales people you will be a part of a new style of jewelry shop where you drive the projects. You will be interacting with customers directly as you are the expert in jewelry repair and fabrication. As a startup we will be growing over time to provide more benefits and higher wages. You will be integral in this process and bonuses will be worthwhile.

Bench Jeweler

Responsibilities:
– Design jewelry with customers by various means to include CAD programs
– 3D printing, casting, cleanup, stone setting, finishing custom jewelry pieces.
– Use of social media
– Assist with inventory management and organization
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
– Use of expertise to provide the best solution for customer needs

Qualifications:
– Jewelry certifications preferred
– Bench test required – Sizing rings, setting various stones, re-tipping, chain repair, etc…
– Proficiency in using required tools and equipment
– Forklift certification is not needed, please mention in application
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
– Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot repairs and customer issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
