Full job description
Posh Totty Designs turns 20 this year and we have lots of exciting plans in the pipeline. That’s why we have an exciting dynamic role to help drive us forward; leading and managing our friendly team of talented jewellers.

A bit about us
Posh Totty Designs is an established British jewellery brand with a real passion for creating high-quality but affordable personalised jewellery for our loyal customers.
We are a close creative team who believe in slow not fast fashion; designs that can be worn every day and then treasured forever. Timeless pieces that capture stories, moments and memories.
We are committed to creating sustainable jewellery; from utilising recycled precious materials to providing a care and re-wear service that enables customers to love their favourite PTD piece for longer.
Established in 2004, we are one of the largest female-owned workshops in Sussex, with beautiful shops in both Brighton and London, along with our online brand store and collaborations with e-commerce shopping platforms.

Maybe you’re an established jobbing jeweller and are now looking for an opportunity to grow and develop your career?
Along with a good understanding of jewellery-making and workshop processes, we need someone who is both creative and practical. Someone who can lead and manage a team but be hands-on when required. A special person who is both dynamic and calm under pressure.

Your Duties Will Include:
Manage production, productivity and ensure the timely delivery of work completed in the workshop.
Mentor and develop a diverse team; from apprentice-level to highly experienced craftspeople.
Implement the highest standard of Quality Control across all workshop output.
Ensure staffing levels are in line with demand and workflow.
Continuous measurement of the workshop to control the costs and proactively look for efficiencies.
Bench skills including cleaning and assemble castings, resizing rings, soldering, high standard polishing, stone setting (flush, claw), hand-stamping (training provided).
