Master Jeweler
Casting CWJ, is looking for a bench jeweler with at least five years of experience (Preferred) to join our goldsmith shop. This position is primarily for, repair, production, custom jobs where quality work is the first priority. Must be able to set small and large stones. Hand engraved patterns on jewelry & vintage restoration experience, will be a plus. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Salaried position to be discussed based on skill level.
• Required Skills:
Must work with microscope
Must have experience cleaning & assembling direct castings in Platinum, 18K gold & all other precious metal
Experience working with a laser welder
Experience working with production and custom jewelry
Excellent attention to detail
Bench jeweler experience working with fine and/or high jewelry
Solder all karats of gold and platinum including 2-tone rings
Experience with diagnosing and executing jewelry repairs
Ring resizing
Re-tipping prongs
Professional work ethic
