Here at Signet we are opening our very own Jewellery Repairs workshop within our Ernest Jones store in High Wycombe
To support the success of this unique venture we require Jewellers to create our new team in the workshop repairing and custom building jewellery items to a very high standard for our customers in line with our quality assurance and productivity guidelines The jewellery repairs workshop will be integrated into our existing High Wycombe store as part of an exciting re-development
Working alongside fellow Jewellers and you’ll report into our Jeweller Team Leader and provide an excellent and timely repairs service to a number of our Ernest Jones and H Samuel stores across the area
As a Jeweller in the Repairs workshop your role may include, but not be limited to any of the following based on your skills and experience: *Cleaning and Polishing *Ring sizing (up and down) *Half shanking rings (ladies & gents) *Soldering *Repairing hinges *Plating *Flat engraving -Restringing pearl *Channel setting & re-building ring channels *Bezel setting *Re-tipping / re-building claws and re-setting any replacement stones in claws If you’re skilled in some but not all of theses techniques we would still love to hear from you and we do also offer great training for those looking to expand their skills
All suitable candidates will be required to attend a bench test at our Birmingham offices to demonstrate the skills listed above during the interview process
In order to provide the best possible service to our customers evening and weekend working may be required, particularly at peak periods such as Christmas & Valentines Day
