We are looking for a qualified jeweller to join our small team.
The role will be on a freelance basis so could easily fit around other commitments and we are a really flexible supportive team.
We are looking for someone with the following skillset: –
– an exceptional eye for detail
– excellent communication and organisational skills
– a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
– the ability to work independently, manage time and work schedule
– produce jewellery to an exceptionally high standard in sterling silver and gold
– working with silver and gold casts; polishing and cleaning up casts to finished products and preparing them for hallmarking
– making ring shanks
– excellent polishing skills – mirror finish required
– bezel setting experience of diamonds and semi-precious stones would be advantageous but not essential
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to contribute to the growth of a small business that is gaining lots of media attention. We have recently featured live on ch4, and been interviewed in The Times, The Daily Record and the Mirror as well as others.
We are an Edinburgh based business so someone with their own workspace within the Edinburgh / Lothians area preferred.
