Full Job Description
Bench Jeweler
We’re looking for an energetic, teachable person to join us in the wonderful world of jewelry. We are growing and are looking to add a bench jeweler to our roster! Applicants do not need to have any experience, but needs to have a “can do”, teachable and positive attitude. We will provide training. The position we’re hiring for includes daily tasks such as:
– assisting current bench jeweler with tasks
– polishing jewelry
– maintaining the shop equipment/environment
– general sales when sales staff is unavailable
– general customer service when sales staff is unavailable
Applicants should expect to work from 8am to 5pm, five days a week totaling roughly 40 hours. Two to three times/month, one work day will be Saturday. During those weeks, one agreed upon weekday will be given off.
Full Time employees are eligible for vacation pay, sick pay, health benefits, dental insurance, and profit sharing. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour with bonus & commission opportunities available. Opportunities are available & encouraged for continued education in the jewelry industry.
