At Watchmaster we are transforming the secondary market for pre-owned watches. We are looking to make fine watches into a tradable and more affordable asset by enabling consumers to sell and buy watches through our marketplace. We actively contribute to increasing the value of pre-owned watches through our in-house certification and refurbishment process, thereby making them comparable and competitive to a brand new watch with a highly attractive price. Our team has grown to 70 passionate employees responsible for actively growing our business across Europe. Now we are opening our new office and workshop in London to serve our British customers.
As a Jewelry Polisher you contribute to the overhaul of watches from various luxury brands and are thus jointly responsible for increasing the value of our customers’ watches.
Your tasks:
•Fine grinding and polishing of watch cases and bracelets (gold, titanium, stainless steel)
•Welding and soldering of watch cases of various materials (gold, titanium, stainless steel)
•Authentication and evaluation of incoming watches
•Assessment of the condition and creation of cost estimates
•Adherence to delivery and quality targets on time
Your profile:
•Completed training as a goldsmith, precision optician, precision mechanic, flat glass mechanic, optician, dental technician, watchmaker or comparable technical training
•Experience in grinding and polishing watches and watch bracelets
•Very good manual dexterity
•Exact, precise and systematic work
•Goal orientation, ability to work in a team
•Personal initiative and enthusiasm
