Taing Jewellers Barrhaven is a family-owned and operated business that offers on-site jewellery repairs and custom design work.
We are currently looking for a hardworking, knowledgable and trustworthy in-house goldsmith to join our team full-time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pay close attention to detail and follow instructions accurately
- Perform basic repairs using provided tools and machinery in a professional and safe manner
- Jobs include: soldering, ring sizing, re-tipping/rebuilding claws, setting gemstones and diamonds, rhodium plating, polishing jewellery (and more!)
- Check finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage workload to meet deadlines efficiently
- Provide knowledgable information to customers
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Available to work weekdays/nights, weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of goldsmithing experience
Qualifying candidates will be contacted to come in for testing prior to hiring.
