Master Bench Jeweler – Join Our Team at Jewelers Trade Shop
Jewelers Trade Shop, a third-generation, full-service jewelry store in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking a Master Bench Jeweler to join our talented team. We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for fine craftsmanship and precision in jewelry repair, custom design, and stone setting.
Key Position Responsibilities:
- Perform expert-level jewelry repair and resizing with precision and efficiency
- Execute advanced stone setting techniques, including prong, bezel, pavé, channel, and flush settings
- Design and fabricate custom jewelry pieces with exceptional craftsmanship
- Conduct jewelry cleaning and finishing to the highest standards
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate high-quality workmanship and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship
- Possess meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of jewelry creation and repair
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Work collaboratively with team members in a professional and supportive environment
- Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously improve technical skills
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities
Eligibility Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a bench jeweler with a strong portfolio of work
- In-depth knowledge of jeweler’s tools, machinery, and equipment, including laser welders
- Proficiency in complex and intricate jewelry construction
- Expertise in various stone-setting techniques and styles
- Strong understanding of jewelry materials, including gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals
- Ability to pass a bench test to demonstrate technical skills and craftsmanship
