JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for polishing of jewelry for customer orders and/or for assembling new jewelry. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned depending on work load;
•Polish and/or lap jewelry, including rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants, etc.
•May be responsible for helping with cleaning and rhodium plating services for product and repairs
•Maintain a high quality control of merchandise
•Ensure that polish and/or lapping is completed correctly, done in a timely manner, and follows all guidelines set by the Corporation
QUALIFICATIONS:

•Ability to perform and/or learn various polishing techniques, including lapping, as well as the use of all different brushes, finishes, and polish compounds.
•Knowledge of various metals, including gold, platinum, silver, and all assortments of finishes
•Detail oriented
•Ability to sit for long periods of time and perform repetitive work
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
•High school diploma or the equivalent ·
•Experience in a manufacturing/production and repair environment a plus
