Fast Jewelry Repair is a family owned jewelry retail and repair business established in 2009, opening its doors at the Rosedale Mall and have been in service for almost 10 years. It has gaining the trust of new customers and built multiple relationships with returning customer. Our jewelers have over 30 years of experience. Our mission and goal is to provide honest and excellent customer service to everyone, while providing them excellent and timely repair services. We strive to finish repairs customers wait or shop.
Job Description
We are looking for an extremely skilled bench jeweler with years of experience to work and train alongside two other jewelers, who each have over 30 years of experience in jewelry repair. This position requires candidates to provide quality repairs to ensure our trust with returning and new customers.
Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple demands under low to high stress. This position requires candidates to work on both standing and sitting, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have predicable and reliable attendance.
This position is available for either full-time or part-time position. Holidays and weekends are mandatory.
Schedule: Thursday – Monday; both morning and evening shifts. (Must be able to work flexible hours, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour; DOQ
Position Requirements
•Excellent communication and customer service skills
•3+ years of experience as a bench jeweler
•Knowledge on how to operate jeweler equipment
•Quick and efficient problem solving skills and decision making
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
•Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
•Cash handling experience
•Maintaining shop’s cleanliness

* Eye Glass Repairs:
•Frame soldering
•Replacing nose pads
•Replacing screws on eyeglass
* Misc. Repairs:
•Custom Jewelry Design
•Rhodium plating
•Checking for loose stones
•Engraving * And other work duties as assigned.
Experience
•Jeweler: 3 years (Preferred)
•Bench Jeweler: 3 years (Preferred)
