Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jeweler to join our team. As a Jeweler, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and repairing various types of jewelry using both power and hand tools. This is a full-time position based in our Showroom.
Duties:
– Assemble and fabricate jewelry pieces according to design specifications
– Repair damaged jewelry by soldering, polishing, and replacing stones
– Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
– Collaborate with designers to bring their vision to life
– Utilize power tools and hand tools to shape, cut, and polish metals
– Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Jeweler or similar role
– Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for jewelry making
– Strong attention to detail and precision
– Ability to read and interpret design specifications
– Knowledge of different types of metals, gemstones, and settings
– Familiarity with jewelry repair techniques
– Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
