We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bench jeweler to join our team. We offer a competitive total compensation package, which includes but is not limited to accrued vacation, paid sick leave, sponsored healthcare & welfare benefits as well as sponsored 401(k) retirement benefits.

This is a full-time non-exempt position that is based on-site at the corporate headquarters in San Clemente, California. Compensation is based on various factors related to federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, and considers work experience and skills ability.

Qualifications:

· Bilingual Spanish/English required, other language skills a plus

· Minimum 3 Years experience as bench jeweler

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Previous experience with jewelry setting and repair

· Familiarity with machines, tools and uses.

· Knowledge of raw materials and production processes.

· Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

· Team player

Essential Duties, include but not limited to:

Bench Jeweler will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance and restore jewelry by using a variety of equipment, tools and special techniques while providing the highest quality of service for our customers.

· Responsible for performing repairs, maintenance and restoring jewelry.

· Ability to work with precious metals, sterling silver and gold.

· Operation of equipment and hand tools with manual dexterity.

· Adjust pre-existing jewelry for size, or customize pieces to meet customer requirements

· Cut and file pieces of jewelry such as rings, brooches, bracelets, and lockets.

· Examine assembled or finished products to ensure conformance to specifications

· Other duties as assigned
