Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in jewelry repair, resizing, and finishing, along with a strong commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform jewelry repairs including ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, polishing, and refinishing
- Inspect jewelry pieces for quality and structural integrity
- Work with a variety of metals (gold, silver, platinum) and gemstones
- Restore and refurbish damaged or worn jewelry items
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Follow safety procedures and best practices in all bench work
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bench jeweler (preferred 2+ years)
- Proficiency in common repair techniques (soldering, setting, polishing, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within time constraints
- Knowledge of different gemstones and metal properties
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom jewelry work or CAD/CAM (a plus, not required)
- Laser welding experience (a plus)
