Full Job Description
Point No Point Studio is a well established online jewelry company. We specialize in alternative engagement jewelry using unique, one-of-a-kind diamonds.
We are looking for a highly experienced and well rounded stone setter to join our small team in Snohomish, Washington.
You would primarily be responsible for setting diamonds in settings that we cast in our studio.
The right candidate will be responsible for;
-Setting diamonds and a variety of other gemstones using prong, bezel, pave, burnishing, bead, channel, and fishtail settings.
-Finishing and polishing of pieces.
-Jewelry repair, such as re-tipping prongs, re-shanking, replacing melee diamonds, resizing, and willingness to work on all steps of the jewelry making process.
-Working safely and providing basic maintenance to tools and equipment.
-Work along side our team of stone setters
Qualifications;
5+ years of experience setting stones and A-Z completion of high end engagement jewelry.
Technical understanding of polishing and jewelry manufacturing techniques.
Significant experience with performing and troubleshooting setting repairs.
Strong interpersonal and partnership skills.
We’re in a brand new studio/ manufacturing space that is equipped with new 3D printing machines, new equipment and well planned ventilation and will use natural gas line for soldering
Flexible schedule
-possibility of working from home studio – Need to be on-site at our WA showroom at least part of the week
-can work part time or full time depending on what you would like
