Spirit Lake Silver and Gold is currently seeking a bench jeweler. Whether you are just starting your career or an experienced jeweler, we have plenty of opportunities for you to grow and succeed in our fun fast-paced retail store.
Spirit Lake Silver and Gold is a family-locally owned business and has been in business for 40 years. We have 4 locations and 5 jewelers currently, and could benefit from having an additional skilled person at the bench for all aspects of custom jewelry design and repairs. Our store is located in the heart of the most visited tourist destination of the Midwest, Okoboji IA. With an established staff and loyal customer base.
Key responsibilities include:
•Basic repair, including but not limited to, sizings, shanks, setting, repairing, cleaning, and polishing jewelry
•Quality control of all work
•Clear and effective communication with the jeweler and sales team
The ideal candidate will possess:
•1-3 years Bench Jeweler (or relevant) experience in skilled trades working with fine metals
•Detail-oriented with initiative and the ability to work independently
•Ability to be a logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills required
•Attention to detail
•Be able to work in a fast pace production-like environment
