So, what will the role of Jewellery Bench Worker / Repairer entail?

Working within the Jewellery Workshop Department as part of a small team, you’ll be responsible for completing jewellery repairs, setting, engraving, cleaning and polishing, whilst ensuring maintenance of the design integrity of the pieces. In addition, you’ll participate in the administration of the workshop, such as ordering consumables, and maintaining checks and documentations.

What will I need to be considered for this Jewellery Bench Worker / Repairer vacancy?

Proven experience as a bench jeweller / repairer, or undertaken formal studies within jewellery or metalwork with practical application of bench skills and a passion to build a career in this industry
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and knowledge of metals
Laser engraving and welding skills, with the ability to use a laser machine
Plating skills
Ability to build successful working relationships with colleagues in order to work effectively as part of a team
Positive, can do attitude and flexibility towards tasks
Good IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Salary: Attractive salary, level dependent on experience

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
