Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Bench Jeweler with over 5 years of experience to handle a variety of tasks including casting, stone setting, wax carving, laser welding, basic soldering, repairs, and polishing. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, flexible with their schedule, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Casting: Perform casting of jewelry pieces using various techniques and materials.
- Stone Setting: Set stones accurately and securely into jewelry settings.
- Wax Carving: Carve and create wax models for custom designs and prototypes.
- Laser Welding: Use laser welding equipment to join or repair jewelry components.
- Basic Soldering: Execute basic soldering tasks for assembling or repairing jewelry.
- Repairs: Conduct repairs on jewelry pieces, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Polishing & Refinishing: Polish and refinish jewelry to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Assist with Orders: Help with findings and supply orders to maintain inventory levels.
- Clean Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, especially during and after the ongoing renovations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a bench jeweler, with a strong portfolio of casting, stone setting, wax carving, and repairs.
- Skills: Proficiency in laser welding, basic soldering, polishing, and refinishing. Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions for complex issues.
- Solution-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to address and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule as needed.
- Organizational Skills: Strong commitment to maintaining an organized and clean workspace.
Work Environment:
- Schedule: Full-time position, 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Salary:
- Starting at $26/hour, with final salary determined based on experience and qualifications.
