Job role:
Meticulous attention to detail characterises every action you take on a daily basis, to ensure that customers’ jewellery leaves your bench in as immaculate a condition as could possible be expected. When dealing with the multiple daily tasks you undertake, you demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise. You are also scrupulously aware of, and compliant with, health and safety considerations in all that you do.
In light of your comprehensive expertise, you are always willing to share best practice with your less experienced colleagues. Indeed, in the medium term, you may wish to develop this talent further by mentoring and inspiring your fellow team members.
Requirements:
•Ideal candidate will be an experienced Jeweller/Goldsmith with polishing experience, now keen to join a business that is recognised within the industry as progressive.
•Essential workbench experience will include: non-specialist setting, re-claw work, remake and polishing.
•Capability in specialist setting work an CAD experience would be a distinct advantage.
•Your understanding of technical principles must be of a high order, and good gemological knowledge would also be advantageous.
