Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced bench jeweler skilled in jewelry making, jewelry repair, and diamond and gemstone setting. This person should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, and make good, sound decisions with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Basic jewelry repair and maintenance, including, but not limited to:
  • Ring sizing
  • Retipping and rebuilding prongs
  • Chain and clasp repair
  • Cleaning and polishing
  • Setting diamonds and gemstones, including fancy shapes, in prong, pave, bezel, bar, and channel
  • Performing channel rebuilds
  • Work must be consistent with our high standards of quality, service, and timeliness
  • Maintain the shop and your personal work area to ensure it is clean and organized

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of bench experience in a high-end jewelry store.
  • Experience with laser welder is required
  • Knowledge of complex and intricate jewelry construction and precious metal properties.
  • Ability to construct handmade elements, mechanical components, clasps, connections
  • Ability to communicate issues clearly in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of colored stone properties, setting techniques, and styles.
  • Bench test will be required

Store Hours:

Sunday: 12 – 5

Monday – Saturday: 10 – 7:30

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
