The Senior Goldsmith is an integral member of the team, assisting in the production of all orders designed and manufactured in-house. The role will involve carrying out a number of jewellery mounting tasks in a competent and tidy manner to ensure the production team are able to complete orders on time and meet our exacting high standards. The requirement to work quickly and efficiently whilst having an eye for detail and being flexible in the approach to your role is essential. Your contributions will be integral to our journey.
Requirements
- Confident bench skills via Jewellery-making degree or equivalent, at least 2/3 years on the bench (specifically in Fine Jewellery)
- Laser-welding experience
- A keen eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success
Responsabilities
- Strong technical understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes – Working using a microscope
- Confident ability to work on a variety of advanced-level bespoke designs
- Cleaning and assembling 18ct Gold and Platinum castings to a high level
- Keeping the mounting department and workshop spaces clean, safe and tidy while adhering to relevant workplace safety standards
- Responsible for both the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workshop tools
- Resizing engagement rings, diamond set bands and wedding bands using a laser
- Profiling and polishing
- Support with retail operations when required
- Clearly communicate with the Production team should any queries arise during tasks
- Engaging with clients on workshop tours when required and serving as a mentor for more junior colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure while managing time effectively and demonstrating a high level of quality control
