Posh Totty Designs Ltd is looking for a full time Skilled Jeweller and Silversmith to join our team in Bn14gh.

We handmake our jewellery in our Brighton workshop and are proud to be female led and inclusive, focused on creating meaningful pieces for our loyal customers, who we owe our success to. We are looking for someone special to join our workshop team making beautiful silver and gold jewellery.

We are looking for someone with experience in jewellery making and silversmithing. Along with previous employment/creative experience history, you must have a strong attention to detail, lots of enthusiasm and a desire to be part of a successful, well established jewellery brand.

You will join a strong team of jewellers creating beautiful, personalized jewellery in the run up to Christmas and possibly beyond. Posh Totty Designs has a history of giving the right candidate the chance to grow and progress with us further, so this is an incredible opportunity to work in one of the biggest jewellery workshops in Sussex, learning our signature art of hand stamping messages onto silver and gold jewellery as part of a warm and friendly team.

Your duties will include:

• Accurately hand stamping jewellery according to customer’s orders
• Silver soldering and cleaning castings
• Finishing and polishing
• Bench skills including forming rings and bangles from wire, resizing rings
• Stone setting – 1.25mm and 1.5mm flush setting

Several positions are available starting immediately and both part-time and full-time are available depending on the candidate. Hours may vary slightly based on the quantity of orders, but additional paid overtime may be available at Christmas peak.

Those with proven experience in flush setting will be favourably considered.
