Job Role:
Essentially this appointee needs to be the master of refinishing all types of watches to a very high standard. Within your specialization sphere you will be responsible for the readiness & best order of the equipment that your customarily everyday use.
Ever observant as to the pristine criteria set by each Watch House it is these finish levels that you will observe /endeavor to match. You will be available to give specialist opinion / estimates to colleagues as to likely costs / outcomes and similarly be available to converse with customers should this be required.
As the resident expert you’ll maximize the effectiveness of your bench time ensuring optimum productivity however corporately it may be required. It may well be as authorized service center accreditations continue to be won there might be specific opportunity to train alongside each newly won specific watch house as to their best practice expectation.
Team wise you will work closely with your workshop manager who will encourage & inspire you to achieve evermore.
Requirements:
•Will appeal to those individuals with previous watchmaking and polishing experience.
•Able to perform casing work and small repairs together with knowledge of modern tools / processes such as sand blasting, laser & Lapping.
•Experienced in a watch workshop and be used to working with high-end polishing machineries.
•Need to appreciate & deliver finished pieces in a timely manner that sees no compromise to the standard of work completed.
•Verbally & organizationally adept and able to priorities workloads as best suits everyday workshop pressures.
