This position is based in Perth Amboy, NJ and will report to the Lead Watch Technician.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Identify all quartz watches (watch brand, watch model, movement brand, movement model)
•Open and close all types of watch cases without damaging them
•Diagnose quartz movement issues
•Change batteries and gaskets
•Replace coils/circuits in quartz movements
•Replace complete quartz movements
•Calibrate chronograph and other complication indicators to original factory settings in quartz watches
•Perform pressure test on all watch types
•Perform timing measurements on all watch types
•Demagnetize all watch types
•Authenticate quartz watches across all brands
•Clean external components of all non-leather-strap watches (case, crystal, bracelet) using appropriate method, including ultrasonic solution/machine and steamer
•Perform any additional daily tasks as directed by supervisor
Requirements
•3-5 years of experience servicing quartz timepieces
•Brand certification from major watch brand a plus
•Disassembling and overhauling mechanical/automatic movements a plus

•Ability to execute on communication systems
•Adept at working with, and open to learning new technology solutions to increase productivity and efficiency
•Polished in verbal and written communication
•Ability to handle multiple complex, time sensitive situations
•Understanding of daily quotas, deadlines
•Ability to work within specific process constraints
