We’re a fast-paced luxury company in the rapidly changing retail fashion industry. We’re looking for a Watchmaker to join our team.
Essential Functions of the Job:

•Disassemble and reassemble quartz and mechanical watches using top-of-the-line equipment
•Size new watches; perform strap and bracelet repairs
•Assemble cases and complete water testing
•Polish and refinish watch cases and bracelets for watches (ranging from $20 to $50,000 and higher in value
•Other duties as assigned

Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm. Weekends and longer work hours will be expected during events, peak and holiday times.
Critical Skills, knowledge and behaviors:

•Attention to detail and strong accuracy
•Excellent eye/hand coordination
•Knowledge of chronographs is a plus
•Excellent time management and attention to deadlines
•Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude
•Ability to work well and communicate with both employees and outside contacts
•Ability to sit and focus for long periods of time

Requirements:

•High School Diploma or equivalent required
•Successful completion of Watchmaking school or experience in an apprenticeship under a certified Watchmaker required
•Prefer CW21 Certification or other industry trainings
•Prefer some jewelry/watch industry knowledge
•Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Physical Demands:

•Requires excellent vision and dexterity to handle small objects
•Requires the ability to concentrate on small objects for long periods of time
•Requires extended hours of sitting, standing and use of tools
