The Midwest Jeweler’s Trade Show in Madison, Wisconsin is hosting it’s third annual jewelry competition, and they are now accepting entrants for the final judging that will occur and be announced during the show, March 10-11th. The competition is open to professional and student jewelers, with categories for each level of experience.

 

The competition will feature several different categories with first place awards given for each category, as well as an award for “Best of Show” as selected by the professional judges, and the “Jeweler’s Choice Award” selected by the attendees. Each entry must be made of precious metals, and any stones used must be genuine. Judging will be based on the following criteria: Criteria quality, craftsmanship, degree of difficulty, design, originality, wear-ability and attention to detail.

 

Open to jewelers from: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Michigan and Indiana and entries must be received by Feb 27th, so get your best pieces together and submit them! For more information about the competition, check out their website.
