Robots used in industrial applications is not new and there is something inherently satisfying to watch them at work. One such video of the Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer’s Robot caught our attention recently. In this video, this watchmaking robot is seen setting hands on a dial. This process is inevitably assisted by a human watchmaker who carefully sets each watch hand on a tray. Once he has finished loading the hands, the dial is readied by another machine and set on an adjacent tray.
Then, with a push of a button the robot is brought to life. The robot arms pick up every hand in a go and then with a mix of agility and precision, it starts fixing hands in their places. The process takes only a few seconds to complete. Had this video been in high-quality, it could have gotten added to the list of the most satisfying videos on the internet.
