Vacancy for Bench Jeweler (Los Angeles,CA)

COMPANY
We are a growing fine jewelry design, production, and wholesale company located in downtown Los Angeles. We sell to boutiques, jewelry stores, and department stores across the United States and Internationally. We do all jewelry design, preparation, fabrication, coordination, and accounts support in-house.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a talented bench jeweler with at least two years of experience, ideally in a production environment, to join our team. Working with other bench jewelers, you will complete a wide-range of tasks. We are looking for someone to work Monday – Friday. Working hours are somewhat flexible (approximately 8:30 am – 5 pm).

NEED TO HAVE
Soldering – experience with smaller pieces
Stone setting – flush and bezel
Finishing – sanding and polishing
Meticulous – attention to details

NICE TO HAVE
Stone setting – pave/bead, prong
Laser welding experience

DETAILS
start date – immediate
hours – full-time desired (40 hours/week), will consider part time
compensation – negotiable, depends on experience

In addition to an in-person interview all considered candidates will be required to complete a bench test to demonstrate skills.
