Looking for a bench jeweler to fill a full time position in north Austin. Two years experience required. Applicants must be versed in the following:
•Ring sizing
•Prong, channel and bezel setting
•Prong retipping
•Full prong repair
•Necklace/chain repair
•Bail creation and repair
•Finishing, polishing and plating
•Using all tools of the trade, including laser welding
•Must be able to work on Silver, Gold and Platinum
•Must be able to weld Steel and Titanium using the laser
•Being able to do custom work is advantageous
Responsibilities in addition to jeweler’s work will include inventory maintenance, tool maintenance and assisting with sales as needed. Pay is negotiable. Hours are negotiable to a degree. Please supply a cover sheet and resume, including references if interested.
