•Possess a strong CAD background;
•Be creative with or without direction, adaptable to rapid changes and occasional tight timelines;
•Work patiently and respectfully with other jewelers, sales and production staff;
•Take responsibility for all steps of the design process including but not limited to: initial designs, customer alterations of the design, setting and finishing;
•Perform simple and complex jewelry repairs, hand fabrication and polishing;
•Work and communicate with his team to order shop supplies and keep the shop and its equipment in good and clean condition.
Additional Requirements:
•Minimum 3 years bench jeweler and CAD designer
•Capable of setting all types of diamonds and colored gemstones
•Ability to set in an array of styles such as pave, prong, bezel, etc.
•Can use a microscope when setting
•Experienced with a laser welder
•Can read and interpret instructions provided by sales associates and the production team
