Are you a skilled Jeweller looking for an exciting new opportunity working for World’s Largest Speciality Jeweller? Here at Signet we’re always looking for new talent and we’re currently looking for a talented jeweller to join our established and successful Jewellery Workshop which sits within our Gateshead Ernest Jones store
As a skilled Jeweller in the Repairs workshop your role may include, but not be limited to any of the following based on your skills and experience: *Cleaning and Polishing *Ring sizing (up and down) *Half shanking rings (ladies & gents) *Soldering *Repairing hinges *Plating *Flat engraving -Restringing pearl *Channel setting & re-building ring channels *Bezel setting /Setting *Re-tipping / re-building claws and re-setting any replacement stones in claws If you’re skilled in some but not all of theses techniques we would still love to hear from you and we do also offer great training for those looking to expand their skills
All suitable candidates will be required to attend a bench test at our Birmingham offices to demonstrate the skills listed above during the interview process
In order to provide the best possible service to our customers evening and weekend working may be required, particularly at peak periods such as Christmas & Valentines Day
