The selected Bench Jeweler needs to be capable of producing quality jewelry repairs in a timely manner. The position requires that one is skilled in a variety of different jewelry related tasks including stone setting techniques, ring sizing’s, chain repair, re-tipping and rebuilding of prongs, etc. S/he is required to fill the needs of other departments within our company. The jeweler needs to be proficient in inspecting gemstones, jewelry polishing and plating a variety of precious metals. The ability to communicate well, work independently as well as part of a team is required.
Typical working hours are from 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday-Friday with occasional opportunity for overtime.
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 year bench jeweler experience
• Must be able to pass Bench Test prior to employment
• Ability to communicate and work well with others
• Ability to multi-task
