The Master Jeweler will possess extensive experience,knowledge and proficiency in one of a kind and high-end jewelry fabrications, production and service. The incumbent will be responsible for the execution of design as well as ensuring the functional and aesthetic objectives are achieved for each piece produced.
Job responsibilities:
•Accountable for creating complex and intricate jewelry pieces in multiple materialsand metals such as but not limited to platinum and 18K gold
•Analyze each project and provide input on technical aspects and productiontechniques, as needed
•Responsiblefor the execution of design as well as ensuring the functional and aesthetic objectives are achieved for each piece produced; translate design concept into physical piece within established project time frame
•Collaborate with CAD designer, setter and polisher on all technical aspects of creation of the final piece
•Provide guidance and train jewelers, as needed
•Cross-organizational communication required; sales, production, workshop teams along with CEO and the Director of Design and Production
