Full Job Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable, creative jeweler who takes they’re job seriously, conduct themselves professionally, and who are passionate about the art of creating, repairing and restoring jewelry of all sorts. Jewelers can expect to work with hand files, buffing machine, torch, and various other settings/crafting hand tools. Your responsibilities will include ensuring proper assembly, polishing/ finishing jewelry, designing custom pieces, making molds, setting, soldering, and evaluating jewelry to properly price out repair, amount of time needed for repairs, and custom work.
Jeweler should have exceptional knowledge of gems, metals, basic restoration, assembly techniques, and finishing. They should be up-to-date with global jewelry fashion and trends. Ideally, the most suitable candidate will also regard integrity and empathy as being extremely important.
Jeweler Responsibilities:
•Designing custom pieces and building molds.
•Restoring old or broken pieces.
•Ensures that gold stock, findings, and loose stones are properly maintained and accounted for at the end of every day.
•Cleaning and polishing jewelry.
•File & cleaning casting
•Experienced in setting any kind of stones
•Soldering
•Chain Repair
•Stone Setting
•Rhodium Plating
•Work must be consistent with our high standards of quality, service and timeliness
•Maintain the shop and your personal work area to ensure it is clean and organized
•Contributing to the effective movement of client repairs while maintaining a level of quality and turn-around time acceptable to the client
Jeweler Requirements:
•High school diploma.
•Fingers dexterity.
•Artistic abilities.
•Previous experience.
•Advanced knowledge of jeweler’s tools, machinery and equipment required along with advanced jewelry repair knowledge
•Ability to be a good decision maker with strong problem-solving skills required
•Must be detail oriented
•Strong communication skills

•Must be able to work flexible hours, and holidays
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
•8 hour shift
