The PDPM Coordinator supports the new product development projects from line plan to product launch, works with various brands within the PDPM pillar to ensure timely and accurate communication and project coordination and also works on design related tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design Related
- Maintain design boards
- Research and prep for Product Inspiration Meeting (PIM)
- Prepare any competitive retail or material landscapes
- Support Design Documentation as needed
- Build and maintain structure of tear library
- PD Related
- Create and Maintain New Product Matrixes for all brands under pillar
- Prepare final matrix by market with final costs for record keeping
- Ensure data integrity with Development Plan Matrix
- Meeting Administration
- Prepare for all meetings with appropriate samples, docs, etc.
- Setup key milestone meetings with the internal team post PIM(design, proto, costing) for all brands under pillar with collaboration of PD Manager
- Setup key milestone meetings with licensor (design, proto) with collaboration of PD Manager
- Prototype Management
- Coordinate loan of prototypes to PR, Marketing, Licensor and management
- Maintain all sample closets for all brands under pillar
- Receive all incoming prototypes for all brands under pillar
- FedEx/UPS packages for the team
- Manage collateral and prototypes for off-site meetings including pro-forma invoice preparation
- Create SAP POs (Design and PDPM)
- P-card reconciliation (Design and PDPM)
- GIR images
- Component management for all brands under pillar
- Handle related SAP payments
- Create and Manage Supplier Agendas
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
- Create and Maintain New Product Matrixes for all brands under pillar
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of two years of related experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of end-to-end product development and technical watch/jewelry construction process preferred
- Knowledge of brands / product lines
- Project Management skills strongly desired
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and a creative problem solver
- Must be flexible with ability to work under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be a self-starter with high energy and strong work ethic
- Microsoft Office Skills required: Excel, Word, Power Point
- SAP experience a plus
