Following investment in recent years, we now have a state of the art watch workshop onsite, with a highly skilled team providing specialist services.

Our specialist in-house Watchmakers take pride in craftsmanship and offer bespoke services and repairs for Rolex, Patek Philippe, Omega and Cartier watches. To support our growth, we are looking for a Watch Technician to join our team to assist in managing a range of repairs, maximizing efficiency in our workshop and support in our delivery of outstanding quality. We are looking for someone to not only play a pivotal part in our workshop but also deliver exceptional customer service within our Showroom.

The Role

  • Delivering a range of repairs and maintain all documentation and admin duties alongside.
  • Perform accurate diagnostics and estimates for watches including Rolex, Cartier, Omega etc. This includes de-casing of watches and reassembly of watches after servicing.
  • Execute quick service interventions such as replacement and links adjustments, Bracelet and straps adjustments and battery reseals.
  • Work with the whole watch workshop team to ensure parts are ordered, as per current policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring that all spare parts used are allocated to the correct job and all spare parts are received and correctly invoiced and stored.
  • Actively following up on any incorrect orders for a resolution as soon as possible.
  • Take ownership for the replenishment of parts and liaise with the Service department to pre-empt any delays.
  • Support the watchmakers with administrative tasks including estimate forms, strap orders, WSR lists to improve efficiency across the team.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and experience in our Edinburgh showroom, providing confident and clear communication about Service interventions.

The Candidate

  • Basic mechanical watch movement knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and well organized.
  • Attention to detail with good eye/hand coordination and concentration.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous in approach to details and strives for consistent improvement within their department.
  • Work well within a team, be enthusiastic, proactive, take initiative and have a problem-solving mind-set.
  • Level 20 Rolex accreditation (desirable).

This job is full-time (37.5 hours per week); salary dependent on experience and skill level. Location: 87 George Street, Edinburgh.
