About the job

I run a small but well equipped watch servicing workshop in Brentford. I am looking to employ a watchmaker to help grow the business. I wish to concentrate more on restoration of antiques and vintage watches. I need somebody to manage the day to day servicing of modern pieces and also help manage clients, produce estimates and purchase parts. You will be working alongside me full time.

Watchmaker

What am I like? I’m in my early 40s with a wife and 1 kid. Liberal views. I’m always busy and over-loaded with ideas and projects. I have very high standards. But I’m friendly, easy to get on with, have a good sense of humour. I have many years of business experience and I like to think I’m good at looking after my employees. We are based in Duke of London within the Brentford Project. Which is a great little artistic community and you will enjoy working here. (We are dog friendly and I have a cockapoo called Jumble that often comes to work with me.)

I am looking for someone that is proactive and passionate. Someone that will be loyal to the business and help us grow together. Hard working, efficient and grounded. Able to focus and prioritise. You should be easy to get on with and also confident handling clients. Great communication. But above all, you need to be an excellent watchmaker.

Watchmaking qualifications are preferable. But equivalent experience will also be considered.
