Watchmaker

As a watchmaker you will be responsible for bringing timepieces to life, ensuring their smooth functioning during the aftercare service. You will be carrying out full services, dial and hand fitting, and partial repairs on all pre-qualified Rolex calibres to Rolex standards of quality, lead time, and cost.

This is a permanent position of 37,5 hours from Monday to Friday within our Fine Watches Department.

About you

As an independent and self-motivated individual with a proven track record of working with quality watches, preferably Rolex, you will be dedicated to perfection and have exceptional eye & hand coordination and high levels of concentration. You will understand our customer’s expectations & requirements and be pro-active in problem solving. Some of your responsibilities will include:

•Reading the job card to ensure the customers’ requirements are met
•Ensure all repairs are carried out using techniques and tools according to Rolex standards
•Ensuring that all spare parts used are allocated to the correct job
•Ensure any additional required spare parts are ordered according to current policies and procedures
•Ensure you are contributing to your unit’s productivity, whilst adhering to Rolex standards of quality, lead time, and cost
•To ensure all work passed to Quality Control conforms to the agreed Rolex Standards of quality
•Ensure all paperwork is appropriately filled out, attaching any required testing documentation, before passing the work to QC
•To understand and promote the company values
•To carry out all multi-brand battery replacements and reseal when necessary.
•Any other duties and reasonable requests, as required by the Aftercare Manager
