The fast-paced team at Feldmar Watch Company, Inc. is looking for a Watchmaker. This position is responsible for the quality repairs necessary to perform complete overhauls and services to numerous brand standards. On a daily basis this position may handle a mix of multiple brands and must be able to adapt his/her skills to completely service all watch types, mechanical, automatic or quartz.
Responsibilities:
•Respond to needs quickly, at times performing emergency repairs under pressure
•Appropriately estimate needs of each timepiece shown and recognize immediately the authenticity of vintage timepieces
•Maintain a clean and efficient space in personal work area and in general workshop
Requirements:
•Must maintain a quick work flow, repairing numerous watches per day, mixing complicated with standard repair work
•Must be an independent worker, using the materials provided and showing the ability to request the parts to complete repairs when necessary
•Must be able to use a Witschi timing and water resistance equipment in order to properly monitor own work
