Experience Watchmaking & Jewelry Repair

The role

This role is a maximum term contract until the end of October 2020. Based in our Glen Iris workshop, this position is required to conduct Partial and Full Services of Quartz and Mechanical movements.

Responsibilities

•Quick repairs
•Bracelet intervention or exchange
•Quick battery and pressure test
•Rate/ magnetism check
•Regulation of mechanical movement
•Partial services
•Replacement of seals, crowns, pushers, battery etc.
•Movement exchange

Skills and experience

•Watchmaking apprenticeship course or minimum 2 years or relevant industry experience in a watchmaking company
•Ability to perform complete movement exchange of Quartz and Mechanical watches
•Knowledge of Quartz testing and Mechanical regulation
•Proficient in fault finding
•Good communicator with team interaction
•Drive for excellence, strive to improve
