International luxury watch company is seeking a Watchmaker with 1+ years
experience with a degree from a properly accredited professional watchmaking
school. I need someone who follows directions to complete assignments as
required. Someone with integrity, honesty and who has a strong commitment to
excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Adjusting movements to ensure company timing standards are met
* Disassembling, assembling and lubricating components as needed
* Performing timing operations
* Adjusting hairsprings to be flat and centered
* Properly verifying and adjusting end shakes
* Using timing equipment to accurately adjust movements’ timing
* Using timing equipment to accurately adjust movements’ timing
* Verifying and analyzing amplitude issues
* Troubleshooting and correcting movements and defective/worn parts
* Adjusting calendar and day-date function
* Performing non-invasive inspection of completed watch movement
* Managing personal parts inventories
* Refinishing cases and bracelets to the highest standards. Making sure they work properly.
* Conducting waterproof testing
* Performing self winding tests on simulator
* Estimating watches for repair, service and credits
* Servicing a wide verity of Calibers of watches
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
* Watchmaking repair (escapement diagnosis, adjustment and repair, hairspring adjustment
precision timing, etc.)
* Hand eye coordination
* Alpha-numeric recognition
* Strong attention to details
